'SALONE DEL CINEMA'

"We have just been advised by the festival, but unfortunately for reasons not available as yet, Dr. John C. McCabe will be unable to make the trip from Michigan to Italy in order to appear at the festival. He was looking forward to attending, he loves Italy, and as many L&H fans know, he was married to Rosina Lawrence, who passed away only a few years ago. Rosina's first husband was born in Italy and served as a judge in New York, Juvenal Marchisio. Also one of Rosina's daughters resides in Italy. We know this will disappoint many admirers who looked forward to meeting John McCabe, and perhaps the trip can be rescheduled. If there is additional information, we will pass it along." The 'Salone del Cinema' is located in Ancona (a beautiful city on the Adriatic sea), in front of the harbour near the centre of the town. The address is: "Fiera di Ancona" - Largo Fiera della Pesca N° 11 - 60100 Ancona - Italy. The duration of the: 'Salone del Cinema' will be from the 20th to the 24th of September. The 'Chump at Oxford' Tent, Oasis No.165, Modena-Italy, will have a stand where it will be possible to see a L&H collectors items exhibition plus another exhibition with many of L&H's old play bills from Italy. On one side of the stand, a non-stop L&H film show on video will be shown. Naturally, it will also be possible to buy different kinds of L&H gadgets at the same stand.
