When neighboring storekeepers do not get along....The proprietor of Hall's Groceries shakes a disapproving finger at the entrepreneurs behind the brand new retail outlet, Laurel & Hardy Electrical Supplies, in the remake of BIG BUSINESS (1929), which was also the sequel to THEM THAR HILLS (1934), entitled TIT FOR TAT (1935). This memorable short subject was nominated for the Academy Award. Mr. Hall received billing on not only the film's original production titles, but also on the one-sheet poster. Credit, however, was given as "Charley Hall," rather than as "Charlie Hall," which was how the actor signed his own hand-written correspondence with friends.
